Hey, it’s time for hay and a Seminar 2 retake
July 21, 2014 |
I am so excited for this weekend! I am going to retake NVOWS Seminar 2 on options. Hopefully I will be there both Friday and Saturday but as of today I still have only found a sitter for my son for Saturday so I might miss Friday. Just found out today that John Quinn will be teaching which will be nice because I always love a fresh perspective and learning from a speaker I haven’t heard yet. So far I’ve learned from David Mitchell and Chris Johanson at my previous options seminars and both of these took place in Colorado Springs. This weekend will mark the first time I’ve attended a NVOWS seminar in my home state, good ol’ Nebraska. The Good Life. Land of runzas, corn and seeing for miles and miles and miles. Did I mention miles? Speaking of corn I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned before that I live in a corn field. Literally. You can’t make this stuff up. I live in a machine shed in a corn field but that’s another story for another day. Feel free to ask if you’re interested in the how and why and what in the world. Speaking of fields, it’s time to put up the hay so I’ve included a picture for your viewing enjoyment of me throwing a few token bales. For the most part I just drove the truck and trailer while my husband and sister did the heavy lifting.
My sister is the one in the flannel that looks much more country than I. She was visiting from Colorado Springs and wanted to take part in the hay process. She worked really hard and all her cross fit training paid off for us. We put up 300 square bales so if you are in the market for hay, let me know.
Well I’ll be sure to write up a Seminar 2 review after this weekends refresher. Until then, happy trading!
Oh and for my birthday I got a moped. Call it a midlife crisis (or mid 30s crisis) if you must but I’ve always wanted one and man is it fun.
